Unclear What any of these switches control is not stated.
Claude Code has new remotely controlled switches, which the server can turn on per account: tengu_mellow_rainbow, tengu_steady_scroll and tengu_imperative_spindle. Nothing in them says what they control. A text label, x-cowork-enrollment, was also added.
Two existing switches now fall back to off when the server sends nothing:
tengu_velvety_kaytengu_mellow_heron, which is now read with that fallback where Claude Code builds a task prompt
In readings taken before this release, the flag server returned off for both of these for this site's account and for the anonymous baseline.
These look like features built in ahead of being switched on. Nothing changes for you unless they are turned on remotely.
tengu_velvety_kay Off in both readingsThe flag server returned off for the account this site reads and for the anonymous baseline. A reading of off cannot rule out a rollout these two readings sit outside of.
This account: off · anonymous baseline: off · compiled default in v2.1.311: off
These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.
tengu_mellow_heron Not enough to sayNothing here resolved what this flag was doing on this version, so nothing here should be read as on or off.
