Unclear It is not clear what now behaves differently for whole-line delete and yank.

What

Vim mode lets you edit your prompt with vim-style keys. Some commands act on whole lines, such as deleting or yanking (copying) a line. These commands now go through their own handling instead of the shared one. The change command is not affected. This may change where the cursor ends up afterwards.

Why

This is a change you can see when editing in vim mode.
