What
Some Claude Code features sit behind switches that Anthropic's servers can turn on or off for each account. Claude Code no longer reads one of these switches, tengu_rustling_lantern. Before, its check fell back to off when the server sent nothing. Now the check always answers off, without asking the server.
Why
Whatever this switch controlled can no longer be turned on remotely. It stays off for every account.
