Claude Code no longer reads one of these switches, `tengu_rustling_lantern`. Before, its check fell back to off when the server sent nothing. Now the check always answers off, without asking the server.\n\n**Why**\n\nWhatever this switch controlled can no longer be turned on remotely. It stays off for every account.\n\n- Flag `tengu_rustling_lantern`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.312; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: not a boolean we can read) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Internals\n- Tier: Under the hood\n- Useful: 1\/5\n- Signal: 1\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
