Unclear It is not known what behaviour this check controls.
Claude Code has a check that decides whether a hidden piece of behaviour runs. It used to depend on a remote switch called tengu_gable_onyx_sluice. It now depends on a different remote switch, tengu_peppy_nest, together with a different local condition. A remote switch is a setting that Anthropic's servers can turn on or off for an account.
The new switch is off unless the server turns it on. In readings taken before this release, it was off for this site's account and also off for an anonymous check.
Whatever this check guards is still off by default. Because the switch has a new name, any rollout that was already done under the old name does not carry over.
tengu_peppy_nest Off in both readingsThe flag server returned off for the account this site reads and for the anonymous baseline. A reading of off cannot rule out a rollout these two readings sit outside of.
This account: off · anonymous baseline: off · compiled default in v2.1.312: off
These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.
tengu_gable_onyx_sluice Not enough to sayNothing here resolved what this flag was doing on this version, so nothing here should be read as on or off.
This account: no value returned · anonymous baseline: no value returned · compiled default in v2.1.312: not a boolean we can read
