It used to depend on a remote switch called `tengu_gable_onyx_sluice`. It now depends on a different remote switch, `tengu_peppy_nest`, together with a different local condition. A remote switch is a setting that Anthropic's servers can turn on or off for an account.\n\nThe new switch is off unless the server turns it on. In readings taken before this release, it was off for this site's account and also off for an anonymous check.\n\n**Why**\n\nWhatever this check guards is still off by default. Because the switch has a new name, any rollout that was already done under the old name does not carry over.\n\n- Flag `tengu_peppy_nest`: Off in both readings (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.312; this account: off, anonymous baseline: off, compiled default: off) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Flag `tengu_gable_onyx_sluice`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.312; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: not a boolean we can read) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Internals\n- Tier: Nothing to try yet\n- Useful: 1\/5\n- Signal: 2\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no\n- Present in the build but not switched on"}
