When several Claude agents work together, they can send messages to each other, and Claude Code counts these chains of messages so they cannot run on forever. The counter can now be set to a starting state, can list which agents have been messaged, and reports when it is cleared because you took a turn.
Why
This looks like groundwork for keeping these limits in place when a session is resumed.
