What

The instructions Claude follows when evaluating a skill (a reusable set of instructions) now say that a run cut off by a timeout is usually still graded, so it can look like a low score rather than a timeout. Before, they said a timeout set too short shows up as a score of 0.

Why

In practice, a low score may mean the run did not have enough time, not that the skill did badly.
