What
A subagent is a helper Claude starts to work on part of a task, which reports back when done. If an agent tries to send a report after an earlier one was already delivered, it now gets the reply "Nothing was sent: an earlier report of yours was already delivered".
Why
This steers agents to stop after one report instead of sending duplicates.
