What
A remote session is one Claude Code talks to over a connection rather than running on your computer. When a message sent to one carries file attachments, Claude Code now includes them in what it sends, in the file_attachments field. Before, attachments were not sent with these messages.
Why
Files attached to a prompt can now actually reach a remote session along with the message.
