What
A connector tool is an action provided by an MCP server, an outside tool Claude Code connects to. A turn is one round of Claude working on your message. Claude Code now has a permission outcome that allows a connector tool for the rest of the turn after a person approves it. The reason it records reads "A person allowed this connector tool for the rest of the turn". Permission prompts also now record which folder they were asked in.
Why
Approving a connector tool once can cover the rest of the turn, so you are not asked again each time Claude uses it.
