What
A record Claude Code keeps about the bodies of its requests to Anthropic now also carries a gzip blocks mode field. Gzip is a common way of compressing data. Two other pieces are new:
A record listing which request shapes were sent and which were rejected.
Handling that marks a block of a streamed reply as finished when the server says it has stopped.
Why
This suggests a way of compressing request bodies in blocks is being tested.
