What
For debugging, Claude Code can keep copies of the requests it sends to the model. When that is switched off, Claude Code clears the kept copy. It now also clears the copies kept for subagents, helper agents Claude starts for part of a task. Before, only the main copy was cleared.
Why
This frees memory that was still being held for subagent requests after keeping them was switched off.
