What
A feature switch is an on or off setting that controls whether a feature is available. One switch used in connections between Claude Code and another app could report only channel off, on, or switch off. It can now also report no_device_policy. It does so when a check passes and the sending side does not say it enforces a device policy, meaning rules about which devices may be used.
