Plugins can draw a backdrop behind their interface. When a backdrop is rewritten, Claude Code checks that only the drawing changed. It used to compare plugin, id and glass. It now compares colorScheme too, and the error message lists props.colorScheme alongside the others.
Why
For plugin authors, a backdrop rewrite that changes the color scheme now counts as more than a drawing change, because the color scheme styles the surface.
