What
Claude Code turns HTTP status codes into named error types. A status code is the number a server sends back to say how a request went. The map now includes two more codes:
429 becomes rate_limit_error.
504 becomes timeout_error.
Before, the map went no further than 404.
Why
These errors are now classified by name. Before, they were left without a type.
