What
While Claude Code works through a turn (one round of you sending a message and Claude replying), it keeps track of a few things about that turn. It now also records whether a request has already been resent after the model sent back an empty reply.
Why
Tracking this could let Claude Code retry once when the model returns nothing, which would mean fewer turns that stall.
