The Bash tool is how Claude runs terminal commands. When a command prints more than fits, Claude Code saves the full output to a file and shows a shorter preview. Before, that preview kept only the beginning.
A new path keeps both the beginning and the end of the output, joined by a line saying the output was cut there and the full output was saved to a file. This is off unless it is switched on remotely.
Long build and test runs usually report their errors at the end. Keeping the end in the preview means Claude can see those errors without having to open the saved file.
