What
Skills are reusable sets of instructions Claude can load. Skills sync keeps them up to date, and is controlled by CLAUDE_CODE_SYNC_SKILLS. Each sync round now:
checks the list of skills again and reloads when it has changed
avoids removing the same skill twice when removals overlap
records how many skills that were turned into plugins were kept, and roughly how many bytes were downloaded
Why
Skills turned into plugins now get refreshed when the list changes. The new usage data shows what each sync round does and costs.
