What
Before sharing goes ahead, Claude Code checks your approval. It now reads the list of people you confirmed first. It refuses to share when:
- the approval did not come from the share card, the prompt where you confirm who to share with
- the share is set to your whole organization but also names specific people
In both cases nothing is shared.
Why
An unclear or malformed approval now stops the share instead of giving wider access than you meant.
