What

A SessionEnd hook is a command that runs automatically when a session ends. A project folder can define its own. Workspace trust is the prompt where you confirm you trust a project folder before Claude Code acts on its settings.

When you have not accepted workspace trust for the project, Claude Code now leaves out that project's SessionEnd hooks and logs that it did so. It also logs when it could not read the workspace trust setting.

Why

A project you have not trusted can no longer run its own commands when the session ends.
