What

A skill is a packaged set of instructions and files that Claude Code can use, and an MCP server (an outside tool connected through the Model Context Protocol) can supply them. Before, every resource named in a skill's list was treated as listed. Now it counts as listed only when a further check passes, and otherwise Claude Code treats it as unlisted.

Why

This can change which skill resources Claude Code is able to read.
