Unclear Which Claude Code feature this file scanning serves is not known.

What

A git worktree is a second working copy of a repository checked out in its own folder. Claude Code now works out the session's folder and its git worktree separately. When both belong to the same repository, it scans for file changes using both of them, instead of always using the original folder.

Why

This may fix file tracking or file listing when a session is running inside a worktree.
