When a turn is handed from one place to another in a remote session, Claude Code carries over the file writes made so far. If placing those writes is refused because permissions changed, and nothing was taken back or left behind, Claude Code now tries once more. Before, it tried only once. Its reporting now records how many attempts were made.

Remote handoffs are less likely to fail because of a passing permission change.
