A handoff passes a turn of work to a Claude Code session running in the cloud. A handoff can now list files by name, and the cloud session places those files for the turn. If placing them fails, the failure is recorded. Only file paths under a particular prefix are checked.
This sits behind a switch that is off unless it is turned on remotely.
Files can now follow a turn that is handed off to the cloud. The session that picks up the work then has the files it was told about.
