What

A remote session runs on a server rather than on your own machine, and can be passed from one worker (a running copy of Claude Code) to another. Claude Code has a few changes in this area:

  • a server-supplied setting, later_worker_holds_first_turn, can have a later worker hold the first turn; when it is set, Claude Code keeps a record of which result marks that turn
  • when a turn is handed off, Claude Code can now note that the turn needs to be rewound before it is queued
  • a teleport relay now ends cleanly when account memory is withdrawn
Why

These are internal changes to remote session handoff. Nothing here is a setting you control.
