What
One of the command runners inside Claude Code now keeps a command's error output, called stderr, as well as its normal output. Before, the error output was thrown away. If the command cannot start at all, the error output is empty.
Why
Error messages from commands run this way are no longer lost, which can make problems easier to understand.
