What
When you type @ in the prompt, Claude Code suggests files you can mention. For files git does not track, it used to rely only on git's own file listing. Now, when a .ignore file contains patterns that re-include files that would otherwise be ignored, Claude Code also lists those files using ripgrep (a fast file-search tool), retrying if the listing does not finish in time. The file list also now waits for the tracked-file listing to finish before building.
Why
Files you have deliberately un-ignored with .ignore now show up in @-file suggestions.
