What
When Claude Code runs as a cloud session, it can now ask the server for details about several subagents at once, in batches. A subagent is a helper agent Claude starts to handle part of a task. The request is skipped when Claude Code is limited to essential network traffic, or when data is kept in a region outside Anthropic's own. Some server refusals are treated as permanent and not retried.
A "requesting" status row that comes right after a tool result, with nothing new added, is now sent as live-only. It shows up while the session runs but is not saved, when the server's settings allow it.
Why
Cloud and Remote Control sessions can restore subagent details, and the saved session history carries fewer throwaway status rows.
