What
The first-run setup, called onboarding, has a new on/off value placed around two of its steps:
- The API key step, where you supply the key Claude Code uses to reach Anthropic, now sits inside it.
- The terminal setup step can now be skipped depending on it.
The value is fixed to off in this build, so onboarding still behaves as it did before.
Why
This is groundwork that does not run yet. You do not need to do anything, and your first-run experience is unchanged for now.
