What

When Claude Code looks up your organization's default model, it now also records whether that model was chosen for your account. It counts as chosen for your account when any of these is true:

  • Your organization enforces the model.
  • The model comes from your organization's configuration.
  • The model comes from a custom role's configuration.
  • It comes from any source other than the global default.

Previously the lookup returned only the model and whether it was configured or enforced by your organization.

Why

This lets Claude Code tell a model picked for your account apart from the default everyone gets.
