What
A skill is a packaged set of instructions Claude Code can run, and each one records the folder it lives in. When Claude Code works out a directory from that folder, it now uses the part of the path before .claude, which is the project folder. Before, it worked out a path relative to another location. The text bundled with skills and tool use was also replaced.
