What
Skills are packaged instructions Claude can load for particular tasks, and some come bundled with Claude Code. Claude Code used to record a usage event for every skill loaded apart from built-in ones. Under a new condition, it no longer records one for bundled skills.
Why
This only changes what is reported to Anthropic. How skills load and work is unchanged.
