When Claude reads a file and the result is cut off because it was too long to send in one answer, Claude Code now adds a note to the result. The note gives:
the range of lines that arrived complete
the starting point and length to ask for when reading the next part of the file
Why
This helps Claude work through a large file a piece at a time without skipping or repeating lines.
