Unclear Which MCP server's tools qualify, and what the extra conditions are, is not stated.
What
In auto mode, Claude Code uses a classifier, an automatic check that decides whether an action is safe to run without asking you. Actions on a safe allowlist can skip that check. Before, skipping depended only on the allowlist. Now a tool from an MCP server can also skip the check when some extra conditions pass. MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers are add-ons that give Claude Code extra tools.
The usage report Claude Code sends when a server's context is out of date now also records which connectors were stale.
Why
For the MCP tools this covers, auto mode makes fewer classifier calls, so those actions run without the extra check.
