Unclear It is not clear whether anything in Claude Code currently gives the new reason, so this may not yet affect any prompt you see.
What
Auto mode is the mode where Claude Code uses a classifier to approve some actions for you instead of asking each time. A classifier is an automatic checker that decides whether an action looks safe.
Some safety checks can mark themselves as ones the classifier may approve. There were two reasons a check could give for this. There is now a third. When that reason is given and Claude Code is in auto mode, Claude Code uses a different test to decide whether the classifier may approve the check.
Why
This changes when auto mode can approve a safety-check prompt without asking you first.
