What
When you type a slash command, Claude Code looks it up in this order:
- an exact name match
- an alias match
- the one command whose folder name matches what you typed
The last step is new. It only applies when exactly one command has that folder name.
Why
Skills, which are add-on instructions stored in their own folders, can now be called by the name of their folder.
