The routine that clears out old session data now starts with an extra step: it removes leftover claude-seed-admin folders. Before deleting one, it checks again that the folder has not changed and belongs to you. It refuses to delete when the folder is shared or is a link to somewhere else.
The step counts how many folders it removed, how many it held back, how many errors it hit, and whether it refused. These counts are added to the usage data the routine already sends. If the step fails, Claude Code logs that it did not run and carries on.
Old folders of this kind no longer pile up, and the extra checks keep the cleanup from deleting a folder that something else is using.
tengu_hipaa_history_retention_prune On for this account, and not off by defaultThe flag server returned on for the one account this site reads, and nothing in this release compiles it off by default. The compiled default is shown below, and says which it is when we cannot read one: a fifth of gates compile in a string or a number rather than on or off, and most published releases have no gate table behind them at all. No client can see what the server returns for your account.
