Claude Code can move a running session into the background so you can keep working. When that is cancelled, a message now says why. There are two reasons:
You have text in the input box that has not been sent. The message tells you to send it or clear it, then try again.
The turn (the stretch of work Claude does in reply to one message) was stopped.
Why
You find out why backgrounding did not happen instead of seeing it silently refused.
