What
Several plugin screens have changed:
The detail view for an MCP tool (an outside tool connected to Claude Code) now notes that the model gets more of the tool's description once it loads the tool through tool search.
Removing the built-in marketplace, the catalogue plugins come from, now keeps the plugins you installed from it and asks you to confirm. Before, it was a plain remove action.
Plugin validation, the check run on a plugin's files, has extra checks.
Why
Removing the built-in marketplace no longer takes your installed plugins with it without warning.
