Unclear It is not stated which command produces this advice, though claude plugin validate is the likely one.
What
When a plugin (an add-on package for Claude Code) is checked, Claude Code now looks in its README file for a line that installs the plugin from a marketplace, a catalogue that plugins are installed from. If no such line is found, it prints advice under the heading "Advice (does not change the verdict):" with a suggested install line that uses --marketplace.
The advice does not change whether the plugin passes or fails the check.
Why
Plugin authors get a ready-made install command they can paste in, so readers of the README can install the plugin in one step.
