Claude Code scans a project to guess what kind of project it is. For iOS apps, the scan now sorts its clues into two kinds: clues that settle the question, and clues that only hint at it. Examples of clues are xcode_project and uikit_import.
It also uses a stricter pattern to spot iOS commands, such as simctl, devicectl, and xcodebuild run against the iPhone (iphoneos) SDK.
Why
A single weak hint is less likely to get a project labelled as iOS, and commands only count as iOS commands when they actually target iOS.
