What

If the claude.ai login stored on your machine has ended, Claude Code falls back to the sign-in made with ant auth login. It now shows a warning when it starts in this case, beginning "Warning: the claude.ai login on this machine has ended." The warning names the organization that will be billed.

Why

Without the warning, your usage could quietly be charged to a Console organization instead of your claude.ai plan.
