What
Claude Code looks for .claude folders in your project and the folders above it, to find skills, agents and custom commands. It now leaves out folders that hold files downloaded from connectors (outside services Claude Code is linked to). This uses the same check that already applies to .mcp.json files. Before, every .claude folder found on the way up was included.
Why
A folder that arrived as a download can no longer add skills, agents or commands to your session.
