What
Auto mode lets Claude Code carry out actions without asking you each time. Its status row in the diagnostics output used to show only Enabled or Disabled. It now has three states:
Disabled
Not reaching this session, followed by a reason
Enabled
Links in the row can now be clicked.
Why
If auto mode is switched on for your account but is not actually applying to the session you are in, the status now says so and why, instead of showing Enabled.
