Unclear It is not clear whether the new check still depends on that server switch, so whether more or fewer people get skill proposals.
Skill proposals and skill syncing can be switched on in more than one way. Setting CLAUDE_CODE_SKILL_PROPOSALS still turns them on.
Another route depends on your account and on a switch the server controls. That route no longer reads the switch directly. It now goes through a separate check.
The server switch this route used, tengu_parallel_backus, has been read for this site's account and for a signed-out baseline. Both readings came back on, which is a change since the reading before. No reading has been taken under this release yet.
Because the check moved, the set of people who get skill proposals through the server-controlled route may have changed. If you want the feature on regardless of that route, set CLAUDE_CODE_SKILL_PROPOSALS yourself.
tengu_parallel_backus On for this account, and not off by defaultThe flag server returned on for the one account this site reads, and nothing in this release compiles it off by default. The compiled default is shown below, and says which it is when we cannot read one: a fifth of gates compile in a string or a number rather than on or off, and most published releases have no gate table behind them at all. No client can see what the server returns for your account.
This account: on · anonymous baseline: on · compiled default in v2.1.319: not a boolean we can read
These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.
Read once, for one account on one subscription tier, against v2.1.319. It isn't a statement about your account. What a flag value here can and cannot tell you
It is not clear whether the new check still depends on that server switch, so whether more or fewer people get skill proposals.
