Unclear What Claude Code does differently when it recognises one of these errors.
Claude Code can now recognise a server error (status 500) that comes with the header x-should-retry: false, which is the server saying the request should not be tried again. This only works when the tengu_woolly_kettle setting is on, and it is off unless switched on remotely. Earlier readings of that setting returned off for this site's account and for a signed-out account.
This may change what Claude Code does after such an error, for example whether it tries the request again.
tengu_woolly_kettle Off in both readingsThe flag server returned off for the account this site reads and for the anonymous baseline. A reading of off cannot rule out a rollout these two readings sit outside of.
This account: off · anonymous baseline: off · compiled default in v2.1.319: off
These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.
