Claude Code already had a way to remove certain strings from the system prompt. The system prompt is the set of instructions Claude gets before your conversation. It now also removes every string listed in removePromptStrings in its model-mix configuration. Before, it removed only the strings it already had.
Why
Configuration sent from Anthropic's side can now strip text from Claude's instructions, for example for experiments.
