What
Claude Code keeps an eye on the background programs that commands start. It now changes how it does this:
- Browsers and ffmpeg are recognised by the name of the running process.
- Each command's kind is worked out from the parsed shell command rather than by reading its text.
- A check that file watching works now writes a small test file and watches for it.
Why
These are internal checks and record-keeping, with no visible effect for someone using Claude Code.
