What
Claude Code now checks your organization ID before using it in web addresses for cloud-session requests. Cloud sessions are sessions that run on Anthropic's servers rather than on your computer. If the ID is not one plain piece of a web address, Claude Code logs a warning and treats the ID as missing. For example, an ID containing a slash fails the check.
Why
This stops an unusual organization ID from changing which address a request goes to.
